So I wanted to share a cool story and brag about my Granddad. I got a phone call from him asking for the address of Anderson Dental which I thought was strange, but he is my Granddad so I gave him the address and didn’t ask questions. About a week later I got a package in the mail with this in it.
Not exactly what I would have guessed, so I gave him a phone call to hear the story. It turns out he has a neighbor who’s step-father was a dentist a long time ago (1940’s) and she had a box full of these kinds of instruments. Apparently she was having a hard time paying her light bill and asked my Granddad if he could help her sell them online for $25.00. He said something along the lines of “You know what? I have a grandson who is a dentist in Grants Pass, Oregon, and he could maybe use some of these, how about I give you $50.00.” I thought that was really neat of him to help out a neighbor like that, and some of those dental instruments have quite a few more miles left in them. They were mostly instruments for tooth extractions, but a few other gems were hidden too. Sorry, just felt like bragging about my Texan Granddad.
Have a great day everyone!
